EDUCATION FOR THE RURAL CHILD
 

BIKERS OPEN THEIR HEARTS TO FUND BARRYDALE’S RURAL CHILDREN

To raise funds for rural children in the Barrydale area.

The bikers donate funds after each ride towards projects for under privileged children.

 

An experienced team of social activists to guide the project and empower our volunteers.  We have a team of strong volunteers committed to implementing the projects.

The first run was on 1/1/ 2022 and raised over R10 000 which was utilised to purchase Back to School Items for 40 children in Barrydale.

Objectives
 

  •  A monthly drive from Cape Town to Barrydale to raise funds for rural children which shall go towards assisting with their education.

  • To start vegetable gardens in the village to assist families with sustainable living.

  • Offsetting the bike ride carbon footprint by planting trees in Smitsville.

  • Creating a weekly farmers market operating from the village.

  • Tourists – Bringing tourism to Barrydale and the Klein Karoo area.

  • Creating green composting solutions and education of interested parties.

  • To continue with weekly yoga and mindfulness classes at Net Vir Pret and other NGO’s in the area.
